The arrival of a brand new series of films from the Harry Potter world also heralds a whole new host of weird and wonderful creatures from ‘Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them’. The films follow the adventures of Newt Scamander, an author and magizoologist, who features in the Harry Potter universe, and his menagerie of unusual and magical creatures.

While Bowtruckles mostly live in wood and trees, Pickett has trouble fitting in with his Bowtruckle family and prefers Newt’s jacket pocket instead. Bowtruckles resemble a green-coloured stick insect and look rather like a walking piece of bark, which is perfect camouflage for the tree-dwelling creatures.
